Everyone loves a good song about love. Love is beautiful and coupling it with the art that is music is always the way to go. And Bulawayo artist Jah Nera has a new track out titled Isibaya.

Isibaya is a track about finding the one you want to marry. Jah Nera is professing his love and intent to marry his love. Like we all know to lobola you need to have the cows to secure the woman you love. The artist is reassuring his love that he has all the cows and that she has nothing to worry about. Talk about security! That feeling of knowing your man has it all in order is top two. And like we’ve said here before here on Ingudukazi, love expressed in your native language just hits the right spot.

The sound is unique. The sound is effortless. The sound is smooth. The simplicity of the instrumentals make the track easy to move to and vibe to. I love this production. Coupled with Jah Nera’s vocals, it’s a great balance. Different yet soothing. The sound of that ‘Ngithand’ izenzo zakho, ngithand’ ubuntu bakho’ hits the soul.

He sings, “Akula omunye engimbonileyo ngaphandle kwakho sweetheart,/ Inhliziyo yami ifela wena,/…,/ Inkomo ngekhaya zigcwele isibaya,/ Inkomo ngekhaya zidlan’ uboya.” It’s doting.

It’s an amicable track for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Or alternatively you could play it for your crush and shoot your shot, you never know maybe one day you’ll be taking the cows to her home. Ladies who doesn’t want to hear “inkomo ngekhaya zigcwel’ isibaya?” Listen to this track and you’ll definitely sbwl.
