Love is rarely as simple as it looks. A lot can happen when it is not taken care of. It’s delicate just like flower, like a rose.
This week we have JØY‘s new track titled Roses. And JØY has spoilt us by giving not just the track but a video as well. According to JØY, Roses is a metaphor for a flower garden to symbolize what happens when love is left un-nurtured by either parties.
Firstly let’s get into the vocals and the overall sound of the production. It’s a very different sound from what you’re used to. Her voice comes in and commands the song in a delicate manner. It’s brilliant. Her voice is unique and she uses it really well. No to be honest she has a beautiful and powerful voice. Murphy Cubic did an amazing job on the instrumental. Great work.
The most exciting part about this project is the visuals. Absolutely gorgeous. JØY and the team have an eye for beautiful work. The concept is laid out really well. I was mesmerized just from the quality of the video, props, and people. I just couldn’t get over the scenes especially the shots of her surrounded by red roses. It’s a dream. Everything is vibrant and delicate. The cinematography is top tier quality.
Overall Roses is a beautiful project. Absolutely amazing. Calling it fire content would be an understatement.
