On the 25th of October the world was robbed of an incredible person. Mgcini Calvin Nhliziyo the ‘Z’khuphani’ hit maker died tragically in a hit and run accident. This tragedy is made worse when someone is taken at a young age, in or before their prime, leaving an incomplete legacy behind them. We will remember Cal_Vin not because of the way he died but for the years he lived and his memory will live on through his works.
Rest In Power King
It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Cal Vin (Mgcini Nhliziyo). The family thanks you for your prayers and love. We will keep you updated on this account.

So many people to just appreciate for getting us here. I mean not many know that @kingcal_vin was producing at least music 11 years ago. At least that is when I saw a CD from when I was at Power FM in 2009. People caught up with him when he did Z'khiphani. He has been working https://t.co/PCWlexc9a2

Condolences to the Nhliziyo family, and the society in general for the sad loss of Calvin Mgcini Nhliziyo.
Besides being a great artist, he was a staunch Bosso fan, who has left a void within the greater Bosso family.
You will always be remembered, rest easy King 👑 Cal Vin✊. pic.twitter.com/8wKNVSQ9ZX

The MDC Alliance extends its condolences to the Nhliziyo family & the hip hop community on the untimely passing of Mgcini Calvin Nhliziyo, "That Luveve Boy." As a party that champions the arts, we are deeply saddened to have lost a young, talented musician. May he rest in peace. pic.twitter.com/9SfXiBywQj

On Sundays around this time, like any other staunch Bosso fan Mgcini Nhliziyo would make his way to Barbourfields Stadium to cheer his favourite team. He captured these moments, which today, he leaves behind. Football is poorer without 'That Luveve Boy'.#RIPCalvin pic.twitter.com/ijaU8g0dQ7

Sad to learn of the untimely passing of award-winning rapper Cal Vin – whose real name was Mgcini Calvin Nhliziyo. 'That Luveve Boy', as Cal Vin was affectionately known was only 35. The arts industry has lost an icon far too soon.
