You can never have too much of love, I mean how can you hate on love? Let alone a love song. In the spirit of Valentine’s, Zhezhingtons, Mbo Mahocs and Fish F Ndaramu graced our playlists and all with a new track titled Uthando Lwami. And wow guys. Can we repeat valentines? It’s good.

To make a good song, you first need beautiful voices that come together well and this track passes with flying colours. The contrast between the 3 voices just brings out the beauty of each individual voice.

The moment the track starts playing, the bug gets you. You feel like swaying and dancing. The rhythm is infectious and grabs your attention in a calm manner. If you listen really closely you’ll hear a very subtle Caribbean vibe. When mixed with the words, it’s unique and refreshing.

Zhezhingtons sings, “Umuhle my baby,/ Ncela ukuthetha nawe,/ Uyababa nana,/ Bengithi kumbe mina nawe singazama nana,/ buya kimi,” (You’re beautiful my baby, Can I talk to you, You’re gorgeous, I was thinking maybe that you and I could be together, come to me.)
Mbo Mahocs sings, “Ngizothath’ uthando lwakho,/ Ngifake kimi luphinde,/Ngikwenzu’ ubambo lwami.” (I’ll take your love and multiply it and make you my rib.)
It can’t get sweeter than this.

Love is beautiful and It’s well expressed on this great track. You don’t  need Valentine’s to celebrate it, all you need is one song. Check it out here.
