Tis the season of love and in true Valentine’s spirit we have a new love song in the mix. Ngisemathandweni by Msiz’kay has been dropped along with the official video and I’m honestly beyond excited.

After what seemed like an eternity, Msizkay has given us a new gem. Titled Ngisemathandweni, the track is a beautiful ode to the love of his life.

It’s such a warm and soft song. Msiz’kay’s voice was meant for this song. The words roll off his tongue so effortlessly. It’s so natural, just like love. The words are are soothing. It’s all the things you want to hear from your love. He sings about an unconditional and pure love.

Like we’ve mentioned here before at iNgudukazi, there’s just something about love and vernacular that pulls your love strings. I mean listen to the way he says ‘ngifun’ ukubhal’ ibizo lakhoo esibhakabhakeni'(I want to write your name in the sky). It’s technically impossible but when it comes from the right person you’ll believe just about anything.

Like I mentioned before the project was a double treat, we also got a video. And it would be petty of me to not mention the lovely work Corey did. The beauty is in the simplicity bazalwane. The entire project is delicate and hits the right spot.

Just take a listen to the track and hear the beautiful words he sings. “Uliphupho elimnandi baby,/ Ulilanga elingashoniyo,/ Ngisuthisekile baby akula engingakutholiyo,/Izandla zakho likhaya lami,/ Nxa ungibamba ngiyagudumala,/…,/ Ngifuna wonk’ umuntu abekwazi indlela oyenza ngizizwe ngayo.” (” You’re a dream,/ You’re my sun,/ You’re my everything,/ I belong in your arms,/ You’re my warm embrace,/ I want the whole world to know how you make me feel.”) Usemathandweni, he’s in love and wants to shout it out to the world. And he’s done it well.

Amanga mabi people, this is an exceptional production. If Msiz’kay keeps up the momentum, he is definitely going places. Take a listen to Ngisemathandweni below.
