Being Zimbabwean means being hardworking, talented and a force to be reckoned with, and Asaph has time and time again proved this to be true.
Following his new track release, Asaph’s, ‘Asipheli Moya’ visuals have been released and as a Zimbabwean or rather as a citizen of Bulawayo I am beyond proud (as many would agree) of his latest production. Asaph has consistently blessed us with his lyrical superpower and quality visuals and this time is no different. 
The video features snippets of Asaph manouvering in a class full of children all blindfolded which illustrate the blind faith and other snippets clearly showing a group of guys hustling for their cash all chanting “Asipheli Moya.” The video perfectly suits the track’s lyrics “Siyawa, siyavuka/ Asipheli Moya,/ Impumelelo siyay’funa” (which translates to “We fall,we rise, we don’t give up, we want success). This is shown by the persistence within the youth to succeed.
The imagery is genius and expressive. The scene with students blindfolded ties with the lyrics “The boizin, just puffin on poizin from suburb to loxion/ that limited option, hustlin” shines a bright light on the resilience that Zimbabweans have, no matter the odds we still triumph. The scenes with the students show that the youth have no certain future that they see ahead for themselves all they can rely on are natural instincts and hope and pray for the best.
The flow and rhyme skills of Asaph blend marvelously with Msiz’kay’s refreshing voice. The delivery is impeccable, the song’s awareness on social issues is next level all while entertaining to the listener.
‘Asipheli Moya’ is undoubtedly a beast of a track.
