Under the theme “Speaking from the Heart,” the Inspire Summit aims to provide a platform for women from all walks of life to share their stories, inspire one another, and ignite positive change. The keynote speaker for this is Hollywood Actress Karen Abercrombie. Recognised as an award-winning singer, songwriter, master storyteller, and actress, Karen has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Her unforgettable portrayal of Miss Clara in the Christian movie War Room garnered critical acclaim and solidified her standing as a talented and versatile artist. Moreover, she has graced the screen in various productions, including Eleanor’s Bench, Delilah, and the AMC series TURN, Washington’s Spies, showcasing her exceptional range and captivating performances.

Karen’s passion for storytelling extends beyond her acting career. She co-wrote and produced the thought-provoking film Discarded Things, which serves as a testament to her commitment to creating meaningful and life-enriching entertainment. In addition, she founded The Village is Alive, a non-profit organisation dedicated to making creative arts accessible to children and adults in underserved communities.
