Consent and Rape are a hot topic this week and clearly we all need a refresher course. We’ve listed 5 songs and a bonus one which you probably didn’t realise has CONSENSUAL undertones. What was curious to see was that all 5 of these songs about consent are by women and 4 of them are from their debut albums. Only Monica’s song had a video and the rest were never given the light of day because CONSENT isn’t sexy duh! Let’s laugh at how R. Kelly is a predator in Ciara’s song about CONSENT? Ironic.
