New Music: ASAPH – Thebelele feat Loki

ASAPH has always managed to bring the good vibes and this is no exception

ASAPH AFRIKA LOKI THEBELELE

Making good music has been and always will be part of ASAPH. His most recent release is no exception. Thebelele featuring Loki is ASAPH’s latest offering after signing with Def Jam Africa. The combo delivered a major hit that has the whole of Zimbabwe playing this track on repeat.

The sound is unique and I love how everything about it screams Bulawayo. ASAPH has always managed to bring the good vibes and he did not disappoint. And to top it all off Loki brought the heat! He matched the energy, delivered and brought the whole house down.

The song describes a lit life. ASAPH and Loki, both rap about being the man and making moves. But to be at the top can only be achieved by hustling and working hard non stop, beke le beke.

The lyricism here is exceptional, catchy and quotable. The one that got me definitely has to be when Loki said, ‘Stoksin bars like a tsotsi then again.’ Do you see what he did there? If you didn’t catch it, go back and listen to it again. Just when you think it couldn’t possibly get any better, ASAPH comes through with the, ‘We thick from the pockets to the shawty posterior.’ Honestly, how can you possibly hate on the boys.

ASAPH is doing it big and Loki is doing it big. Thebelele is a certified banger, a hit and I’m happy it’s from our own.

Stream the track down below, and if you’ve already listened to it and liked it, go back and do it again, you deserve nice things.

Born Nonhlanhla Mpala. I am an introvert & piscean, hell of a combination. Music is my first love and my source of therapy hence I found it fitting to give you my opinion on new music and maybe just maybe, convince you that you need music. Lover of chicken and the finer things in life. Oh and I almost forgot, I am a Feminist.
