CREDISI Party Set for 26 Sept!

Crazy D, Ashleigh Love and Leticia Ontle Headline 11^th CREDISI Party

Fast rising Bulawayo female DJ Crazy D alongside up-and –coming Afro fusion musician Ashleigh Love, Amapiano artiste Letticia Ontle and youthful imbube outfit Sunduza will be headlining this month’s “Creative Diversity and Social Inclusion Project’ (CREDISI) show. Dubbed the Credisi Party, the show which is in its 11^th edition will be streamed live on the Inkululeko Yabatsha School of Arts (IYASA), Facebook page on Saturday 26 September 2020.

The Saturday line-up will also include Preyung and a new unique act Pitch Afro a crew that blends drums, music and dance. CREDISI shows have become popular with creating a platform for artistes to showcase their new works to the world, this month’s edition will see Letticia Ontle, DJ Crazy D and Ashleigh Love all perform their latest songs for the first time live on the CREDISI stage.

Through the CREDISI project Iyasa worked with the local authority and arts stakeholders on inter-cultural dialogue meetings which were set to build an understanding and generate confidence which can enable the implementation of reforms around the use of public infrastructure in the city. The project targeted to engage, youth led organisations, women’s arts groups, creative clubs/hubs as well as initiatives done by upcoming and independent artists in the city.

CREDISI is being implemented by Iyasa in collaboration with the Bulawayo City Council (BCC) and supported by Culture at Work Africa (CAWA), which is a consortium of eight African, European and International partners whose mission is to promote the public value of intercultural dialogue for social cohesion in Urban areas across Africa.
