The name ‘Welsh the Stylist’ resonates with many especially in regards to fashion. Welshman Sibanda, ‘Welsh the Stylist” is a not only an artist but a fashion god, brand ambassador and entrepreneur. He is best known for his fashion prowess, serving us with looks to die for. So this time around we are concentrating on that, we are taking a look at a few looks he has yet again served us with, “experimental looks” he calls them. These, he says where inspired by the essence of being African, to embrace our prints, and of course a touch of vintage (which is his niche).
The first look is a romantic, flowy dress that is open on the bottom. It’s an Ankara printed mini, with short sleeves and a synched waist. Perfect for that sunny warm day.
The following photo incorporates three fabulous looks, all in prints. The first model has on a two piece outfit comprising of a shirt and shorts. This is finished off by boyish edgy boots. The second model is spotting a string top and mini skirt combo, whilst welsh himself is wearing a shirt and long trousers combo. With this look he styled it with stripped socks and black formal shoes.
Moving on we have the shorts and shirt combo again, this time styled up with those same boots yes but boosted with accessories. The accessories are a brown vintage briefcase and a custom made Welsh the stylist yellow barrette.
As fashion styling is his prowess, Welsh, turns a simple dress into an artistic catchy outfit. The simple printed dress has detail on the sleeves, styled with thigh high boots and a Welsh the stylist red barrette.
The last look however is a favorite, as it spots a yellow polo sweatshirt with an official Welsh the Stylish logo, styled with the power house’s barrette. This is worn with blue high waisted denim pants and finished off with a catchy camera inspired clutch.
Ultimately you can look just as stylish, just take a few pointers from Welsh the Stylist with these above looks. You can still view some more in his Instagram page. For more from this fashion enthusiast you can follow him on his social media handles:
