Rudo Amor

Choose by Rudo Amor is officially out. The Survivor song maker has released a new track titled “Choose”. A song about love heartbreak and the rollercoaster ride that is relationships.

Featuring themes of love for your partner and yourself, this ballad is one to add to your playlist. In the words of the songstress, on her YouTube channel, “the song takes you on a journey of falling in love to heartbreak then quiet peaceful resolve after the right choice is made  because you always have to choose yourself first.” What is particularly striking about this song is the way Rudo Amor speaks about ‘choosing the one who died for me.’ Not many artists boldly declare love by including God into the equation. It’s different and unique.

The lyrics go, “Everything about you is so sweet,/ But you don’t seem to to understand me when I say,/ If you make me choose,/ Between you and God,/I’ll choose the One who died for me,/….,/ I’d rather break your heart and say goodbye.

Backed by a guitar and piano, Choose is a great mix of sound and vocals. Rudo Amor’s voice graciously carries the lyrics, which she composed herself. The gentle guitar by Shekinah and soft piano by Reneiloe compliment each other well under good production by B-Kid.

Rudo Amor is undoubtedly talented and an artist to keep on your radar, and Choose is definitely one to add to your playlist just as a quick reminder that you must put God first, no matter the situation because Jesus died for you and you are loved in His eyes. By choosing Him you are choosing yourself. He is the only one who can fix your broken heart .
