We’ll discuss both issues in this article.

Psychologically young children’s characters are dictated through their choices  in colour. For example children who are usually bullied and have a low self esteem usually settle for dull colours like brown and grey. One might then wonder why dull colours and the answer to that is they don’t attract too much attention. People who are victims of bullying tend to shun away from crowds thus they withdraw themselves from the world and build up walls around themselves. So if your children love dull colours you might need to look into their social circle. Well coming to adults it’s no different that our choices in colour relay a message.

Lovers of warm  colours like yellow, orange and red these are usually associated with people who are suckers for love. Red on its own is deemed as a colour of romance for some reason. The rule of thumb is that you must wear red on your best body features. It brings attention to that feature. Do you know why men love red? It is probably because you can never miss it, it’s popping.

Orange and yellow are colours of the sun, these are symbolic of positivity, new beginnings and happiness. Usually most people wear these colours when they are happy and are feeling all confident, no doubt it takes some guts to rock an orange outfit and still look all types of amazing in it, hence having to wear such warm colours can bring out how one has a daring character. The trick is, the brighter you go, the happier and more optimistic you are.

The most interesting people you can never get to understand are those who love neutral colours. Well neutral means without colour, these serve to blend in but you could never tell which group they belong to. Neutral colours include beige, ivory, shades of white and gray. Most people who love these colours are usually introverts. Introverts are the kind of people who are confined to their spaces and have no interest in societal perspectives or views but instead live their lives the way it suits them. These are people we live with but enjoy their own spaces which explains the disguise and blending in portrayed by neutral colours. Well apart from the meaning behind the neutral colours it’s important to own one or two things with neutral colours just in case.

Another important set of colours that can relay a message on one’s character are cold colours. Commonly “coldness” is associated with bleakness but when it comes to colours it portrays a different meaning. Cold colours are blue, indigo, green and violet and these are usually associated with calmness, sweetness and quietness. The beauty about cold colours is how they are always elegant even in their simplest form and are suitable for any occasion.
