OKmart Zimbabwe launched their 2022 edition of the Mega Money Maker Promotion on Saturday the 30^th of July, last week. The ceremony was a cocktail event held at the retail giant’s Bulawayo branch on Saturday evening. It was a black tie event which hosted officials, customers and business persons as well as other corporate giants in the city.

The promotion is set to run from 1 August 2022 to 16 September 2022, under the theme, ‘Buy Bulk, Save and Win.’ The grand prize will be a Hyundai H100 truck to be presented to one lucky winner. Weekly shopping vouchers worth ZWL300,000 will be given to 16 lucky winners. Those who are feeling lucky and want to stand a chance of winning can dial *189# and follow the prompts. The alternative way for registration could be contacting their WhatsApp or visit in-store.

What is phenomenal with this occasion is that it is running on the digital spaces. Participants will register on line or by dialing the USSD code. Customers will earn points by purchasing groceries or items worth ZWL80,000 or more. More details about the promotion are available on their social media pages and in-store. The promotion has been running annually for a few years and had to go under hiatus when the Covid-19 pandemic. when it resumed, just like most businesses, OK Mart had to adapt to the prevailing conditions and took the promotion to the digital realm.
