Poem: Take Me Away by Lee-Anne

Take Me Away

Take Me Away

“I begged the earth to swallow me
But even it had no appetite for me
It had no want or need for me

I begged the earth to open wide
It ignored me
And so I stood there
Begging in the void
For anything at all
To take me
To take me whole”

And this one is just something I had.
