New Music: Prolific – Don’t Be Fooled

This week we’re looking at the new track by Prolific  from Cottage 47 called Don’t Be Fooled.

Don’t be fooled is a hip hop track with a laid back beat that backs up Prolific’s rapping. The flow matches the beat. It’s a subtle yet a popping sound.

When artists make music, we often tend to over look the work that is put into bringing the project together. This week we’re looking at the new track by Prolific  from Cottage 47 called Don’t Be Fooled.

Don’t be fooled is a hip hop track with a laid back beat that backs up Prolific’s rapping. The flow matches the beat. It’s a subtle yet a popping sound.

In the track, the talented artist raps about people ‘sleeping’ on him., securing the bag and working and trusting yourself.  When you take time to listen to the track, you realise that the message is profound. I’d like to say you shouldn’t be fooled by the sound. There’s a meaningful message he’s putting across.

Honestly it’s a banger. I enjoyed the word play. The self confidence. The subtle bragging. The vibe. Just all of it.

He raps, “Get up and get on your hustler,/ No time, no time to doss,/ Secure the bag,/ Make no mistakes,/…,/ Dont be fooled,/ They sleeping on me like duvets,/ All I need is a little bit of time to correct my wrong ways.’ Honestly how many people can use the word duvets in their song and get away with it? My point exactly.

Don’t be fooled by Prolific, he’s talented and hungry for the bag. Don’t be fooled, don’t be left behind, don’t make a mistake instead, check out his track below.
