Meet Bulawayo’s very own award-winning Remy Shoots!! 20-year-old Jeremy Kupfuwa aka “Remy Shoots” is taking the photography world by storm. He is a young man who is full of passion and is blessed with an artistic eye. He has been in this exciting and creative line of work for 3 years and doesn’t plan to stop soon. He manages to turn his muse into something memorable and magical.
Not restricted by one kind of photography, Remy Shoots dabbles in various types of photography as such: portrait photography, documentary photography, and fashion photography. Inspired to tell a story, Jeremy ensures that his work will always have a message. He makes people feel a string of emotions and is constantly blowing people’s minds away.
Daring to be different, Jeremy’s alias: “Remy Shoots” is unique and outstanding from other photographers. A word from the man himself,
“Remy is the suffix of my real name Jeremy and I decided to be Remy Shoots, not Remy Photography because at the time everybody called themselves … photography. I’d prefer to be in the 1%.”

He is always on the clock no matter what the situation may be. He never lets the dark days stop his creative process. Whenever he is stuck, he doesn’t let this be the reason why he stops doing photography. He goes on to say, “I go out and force myself to shoot because the difference between an amateur and a professional is that one waits for inspiration whilst the other never stops working.”
His advice to those who are also in the content creation industry is to never forget why you started.
“If you’re a service provider and a creative, never compromise, always do what’s best for the client because you’re only as good as your last picture.“
He even goes on to say, “
The North remembers; so don’t screw anyone.”
