In the spirit of love and all things alike, we have a new track from Lemoniq titled Sofa Silahlane.

Sofa Silahlane is the songstress’ second production. She has a beautiful voice, making the delivery of the message unique. Her delicate voice and the backing vocals put together give off a soothing sound. Her voice perfectly fits with the Ndebele words she’s singing. The fact she wrote the words herself makes it more admirable.

The entire production revolves around the premise of a soft sweet love. From the lyrics to the vocals to the instrumentals. The producer handled the project exceptionally. They managed to capture all the right aspects of Lemoniq’s voice. The instrumental is layered just right, it’s not overwhelming to the ear instead it has a soothing effect. Lemoniq sings, “Sofa silahlane,/ Akekho ofana naye,/ Akekho ofika kuye,/ Ngihleli ngikhala naye,/ Ncela ling’khulule,/…,/ Yena ungikhipha ebunyameni,/ Ungifaka ebukhanyeni,” (only death will do us part, there’s no one like him, there’s none who can be like him, my heart years for him, please let me be,…, he takes me from the darkest place and puts me in the light.” Talk about falling deep and unconditionally.
